Liebster Blog Award

Recently Gayatri passed this award to me..and I am beyond honored girl...You are such an inspiration to me...I doubt there is anyone who visits your blog and doesn't linger for hours! ....I usually end up browsing all her past posts when I get the time!!

 

The idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:
1) Link back to the person who gave it and thank them for thinking of you.

Butterfly Award

Still braving the super super silly rains in mumbai...It serves me right for complaining non-stop about the lack of rains in Ahd...God decided I needed all the rain that He had...so 4 days of non-stop rain..no shopping this time at all...well, not completely nothing....just a bit then..Loved seeing Pie lane goodies in my local shop...and getting to see all the Crafter's cards...that was the highlight of that shopping trip..

Q11) Guilty pleasure? Shopping way beyond my set budget and yet not feeling sorry for it.....be it crafty shopping, for perfumes, for books ... I don't really spend on clothes that much, nor shoes...

Q12) When you're upset you? Clam up. Or call my BFF and pour down my worries and sorrows to her...and then, we gossip...makes me happy!! :)

Thank you everyone for your wonderful response and wonderful commendation on my Basic's post. Makes me want to post every darn thing I know. I will...slowly...post by post...

Before I get down to playing with my Cuttlebug to create soemthing new...let me just stop for a second and thank everyone for the awards that they've showered on me. I have been lazy in posting them...Loads of apologies ladies!

I'm very very grateful to have gotten these few awards the past week...and some that I've gotten long back, but never got around to posting..thanks so much all of you..I had a couple of RAK's to post too..never got around to that too!!

I have to pass these on to other people and list few things about myself..what can I tell you that you don't know!
Just a few things..

• I am a terrible control freak. I get mad when things go out of my control..and I ain't a pretty sight when I get mad. 

• I hate gyms and hate exercise, and the fact that I have to do it, doesn't help me at all.

• I love reading..just finished 5 books..Nicholas Sparks-True Believer, Lee Child's 61 hours, John Grisham's The confession and tons of mills and boons...yep, I still read them.

• I am dying to learn how to make jewellery..not the diamond ones the casual kinds..(any help there?) 

phew, those were too much for me. I think that's enough for now...more tid-bits later!

Just to share one more RAK that landed on my door before I left for mumbai..this beautiful card and a huge box of goodies came my way...I love all the RAK's that Lani's sent for me. Tons of papers, stamps and flowers! You've made my entire year I guess with your gifts!!

Another surprise came from Priya Venkat. I seem to have misplaced her card in my rush of packing things before I left for mumbai, but as soon as I find it, it'll be here. Thank you so much for those papers and those precise cutting instructions..I'm saving the post-its!!!

Wow! I am honored girls..Thanks so much for tagging me with this award..I've been tagged with this award from Karuna, Rachna, Anita and Priya. Thank you so much..

 

 As per the rules, I have to tag more people and tell you 8 things about myself..The amount of blabbering I do on  my blog, there isn't much left to know, but still will attempt somethings..

1. I love reading..and re-reading my favorite books..I've read Harry Potter and the Twilight series more than  20 times....EACH!! 

2. I and Hubs love eating out. I love trying new places, new menus. 

3. I love good perfumes, and if you're wearing a good perfume, chances are I'll love you even before I talk to you. My favorites so far at Ralph Lauren's Romance, Hugo Boss, Gucci-Me, Davidoff Echo, Bur-berry weekend. Recommend some of your favorite to me..would love to try some more.

4. I can become the ice queen if pissed off..I can go for days without talking to the person I'm angry at, even if we're in the same house.

5. I hate watching English movies dubbed in Hindi. Eeew!! Calling a dinosaur in Jurrasic Park, a "chhipkali"!! Eew!

6. I hope to have a scrapbooking/cardmaking store of my own some day.

7. I love having warm brownies with chocolate sauce and ice-cream. Whenever I'm upset, this is what calms me down.

8. I miss having a girl-friend to sit and talk and just have a good time. Ever since I moved cities, finding girl-friends that I can relate to is a big problem. I do have girl-friends, but not someone I can call at 4 am and bug her life out.
