Envelope Flip Book | Valentine's Gift!

Hello again! Its time for the mid month inspiration for the Valentine's challenge on The Twisted Challenge Blog! No reds and no pinks!

For me love is in the small things! The small notes, the memories, the love letters! I went for a complete masculine theme and made a small Envelope Flip book. It uses 4 envelopes only, measuring 5x7. And is super super easy! So here are a few pictures of the book, enjoy!

Each envelope holds a postcard note. With some stamping and a cutesy sentiment with it! There is enough room to add a lot more in it.

I have tucked some 3x4 journaling cards too!

Couldn't resist some butterflies!

Some more journaling cards.

These are the postcard notes in each envelope. Aren't they cute? There is enough space to write on the front and back.

Enjoy the quick video of this Flip book! And do join the challenge...just a few days before it ends!

Tutorial - Lorrie Nunemaker
Paper pack used - Papericious Often (Very old pack)
Stamps - Fiskars, MFT, Lawn Fawn, Kaisercraft, Mama Elephant.
Journaling cards - SNAP cards from Simple stories.

Craftreat Guest DT post | Double waterfall Folio

Hello Everyone,

Join me for a post for the Craftreat blog! You can find this post on the Craftreat blog as well.
I am showcasing two paper packs and 2 projects made with those paper packs.

And now to the projects.
I have one Quick Photo Folio which can be done in under an hour. This folio can be done straight with Pattern paper and not even using cardstock. But I am a fanatic for black borders, and so I used cardstock as the base and then matted the pattern paper.
4 sheets of cardstock, 4 sheets of Pattern paper, glue and one ribbon and you are done!

A peek inside as to how the pages look. Each page is a pocket page and can hold anywhere from one to 4 photographs and journaling cards. This is a tutorial from Amber..LyricLover810  on youtube (..https://youtu.be/Jo6nX6cG1DY )

Now to the bigger project, Double Waterfall Photo Folio.

This was a labor of love but again a quick project. 2 days max is what you need on this!
I loved that this folio allows for vertical as well as horizontal photos. And then I went and made it complicated by adding more photo inserts....it was fun to do that!!
But the hero of the project is definitely the paper, and the cut-aparts! They are fantastic ..and of course, THE OWLS!!

Here is a peek at the inside of the Double Waterfall photo folio. Did I not tell you the papers are fantastic!

Without any further ado, here's the walk through the next project.
This project is made with a tutorial from Frances Long, well at least when her tutorials were free.

Sorry about the silent walk-through. I havd a bad bad cold and my voice would have scared you all! So silent video it is for today!!

I do hope you enjoyed these two projects.

Happy Crafting!

MDF Word Album

Long break later I'm back for a quick project share! Vacation and hot humid weather make for a no mojo day, but I did manage to complete this one quick MDF word album.

This is 14x6 size DAD album. I kept it  pretty simple...Covering it with flowers and that too for a male album, is something my hands shudder at doing!

So here are the pics!!
Most of the quotes in the album were given to me by the client.

A fun little waterfall page for an interactive element, in an otherwise flat album!

How I love the little girl from Mama Elephant!! This is my favorite quote by far!

Butterflies have to find their way in!! by hook or by crook!! :D

Another interactive element on the last page. Two pockets, one horizontal and one vertical...And both are separate pockets.
If you need to know any supplies, leave me a comment and I shall update the supplies!! As of now, I'm too lazy!!

And now for some BIG BIG NEWS!!
My Facebook page is close to reaching 10,000 likes and My YouTube Channel needs 2 more subscribers to reach 100!!! Woo-Hoooo!!!

So I'm going to be giving away something to everyone!! Yes!! Everyone!! Keep a watch out on my blog in the next few days. And feel free to post your best guess as to what would be the give-away!!!

Till then
Much Love,
Tejal

Lulupu Challenge#10 ~ Birthday Special Blog Hop Day # 7

Hello Everyone!
www.lulupu.com turns 1 this month and we are all happy and celebrating!

I joined Lulupu Team right from day one. And it was such an awesome experience planning the blog, the challenges, creating inspirations. It was exciting to see the blog and the store develop and grow. I have loved seeing the fabulous inspirations and the amazing creativity that the team displays and when asked to be a part of Lulupu's Birthday bash, there was no hesitation. Happy Birthday Lulupu... and wishing the Team another fabulous creative year ahead.

March will be going to be fun at Lulupu - The Craft Lounge! There will be many giveaways and tonnes of fun so do ensure you follows Lulupu all around FB, Twitter, Pinterest and Youtube! To kick start the celebration we have a Lulupu Design Team Blog Hop along with the monthly challenge. So if you have landed at this post just now, you can start HERE and join us in this fun filled week !

So here I am sharing my project for Lulupu Challenge #10 - Let's Celebrate.

As the challenge suggests, we were to take inspiration from a fellow Design Team member and create a project that celebrates.... well... just about anything. My inspiration was Isha's Accordion Fold Card.

I loved it for its colors, the gorgeous pink and white scheme. And the fact that I had not done such a cute version of an accordion fold before. But I wanted to give it a twist of my own too...So I made it into a tag booklet.

I kept the colors almost the same... using the pink and white combo. The paper are all from a collection called Confetties. Using Spellinders Label 8 for the base and floral ovals for the topper. Some bling and a 3D butterfly complete the front of the Tag book. The gorgeous sentiment comes from my newest Papertrey ink stamp.

Continuing the white and pink theme inside. (I think I'm still hungover from the baby girl book :p) 4 removable tags and ample space for writing messages.
This one is going to my bestie who is celebrating her new Baby girl's arrival into this world.
The book closes with a ribbon.

Here is a little close up of my 3D butterfly. I was over the moon when I made it...and it looks gorjuss in real life. I think it might just fly away!! :D
And that's my project to Celebrate Lulupu's First birthday...Do join in the fun and celebrations...

Continue the Lulupu Design Team Blog Hop with the next post tomorrow on

Photo Flip Book (Tons of Pics)

Happy New Year...yep, its still the first month...I can wish you..even if its way late....I did mean to post earlier..but never got around to it...just a complete lack of mojo, traveling and holiday just didn't let me get back to the groove...even now I'm in severe crafting depression...which means I want to craft, but have no desire to do so...weird eh!!
Never mind that.....let me post the pics of my Photo Flip Book which I posted a week ago on Facebook and forgot on my blog...(Has facebook become everything now? ) I need to de-addict myself from Facebook now....Zuckerberg may you rot in hell for this!! :p (its always nice to blame my faults on someone else..hehe!!)

This is essentially a 6x6 Photo book, with space for 12-14 pictures and a couple of spots for journaling. It was for a newly married couple...I so hope they liked it.

This is the cover page of the Book... Thanks Apek for the die cut...this book wouldn't be so awesome without your help!! MWAH!
This is my oh-so-in-love LSG gold shimmer spray...I'm getting low on it...need a replacement soon...(take deep breaths!! phew)

Just some die cuts, sponging, and super sentiments from Fiskars... (thanks Khush!! nope you're not getting them back)

Some gorgeous die cuts from Piyu! (I'm still in shock, did you really send me that die?)

This is how the gatefold page opens with space for a photo  in the centre..

The right gatefold for journalling space and again a photo...

The center flip out page with space for 4 photos and a center piece quote..

This is how the whole book looks from the top...maybe will give you an idea of how is goes...For a better peek at how I flip this book open and again open ... go to my youtube channel and check the video out...

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me...Papers are all from Papermania Confetti Collection. Which is now called the Lunne collection or something!!
Yes yes, the tutorial ...its from this video...but I have modified a lot of it...I have added a spine to both the sides of the book, plus a few changes that I felt the book needed. But basic idea is from that tutorial.

So, if you make one, do link me up..would love to see it!!

The Reminder book

A craftypost from me after a long time . This is already up on Swap Central so I thought I might as well post it here. This reminder book was super awesome to make...and super fun....I took everything I love about stamping and colors and put that down in this book.

7 colors of the rainbow, stamping, embossing and distressing! All that I love about stamping is what makes the theme of this book!

I love how this cover turned out. I initially was not sure how to do these rays, but found a quick way to do it. and it turned fab. All the colors on the cover are the same colors that I used on the inside of the book. The ribbons are also 7 in color.....and the tags included in the pockets are also the same color as the page.....Talk about color co-ordinating! The Alpha's are stickers from PrintaStick.

Just a quick run down on all the stamps and inks used. All CS is Fabriano. The background Versamark stamp is hero arts Large stripe flower, and the lower half is Hero arts background Flower Dot Pattern Clear embossed and Distressed with Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord . The Alphabet is a local stamp I purchased, which is again white embossed on a frame cut out from a hero arts Stripes and Frame Set (Romina, I finally used the stamp you sent!! :D)

Check out the cute little birdie U-pin I snagged locally!! got tons of shapes of those pins...turtle, croc, sheep, cow, rabbit etc!! :D

The Feb page has hearts watermarked in the background, but hard to see because of the color. The flourish stamp is embossed in white, Distressed with Barn Door and Fired Brick

The March page has little bunnies (easter bunnies if you will) from Lawn Fawn, and the Hero arts clear embossed. Distress inks used are Stormy sky and Chipped sapphire.

The April silver heat embossed. The background has little dragon flies - an old hobby ideas stamp)
Distress inks used - Spun sugar and Worn Lipstick

The May has Damask background stamp from PTI, and heat embossed lower panel. I could not match the color of distress inks, so just heat embossed on the same color card-stock. Though it looks black, its green ..

The June side has PTI sunflowers stamp in the background and clear embossed Flourish stamp in the lower panel on the same green CS.

July tag is embossed in Gold, Unity butterflies in the background and White heat embossed lower panel.

Aug is silver embossed, and PTI Butterfly Dreams in the background. The lower panel is distress with Pumice Stone distress ink.

Sep tag is Gold embossed, Mehendi Medallion in the background (stare closely and slowly). Lower panel distressed with Wild honey and Spice marmalade and tinge of Rusty hinge.

My favorite month and color... Oct Tag is silver embossed, and PTI Friends till the end in the background.
Lower panel distressed with Tumbled Glass.

Nov tag gold embossed, and Autum Leaves stamp in the background. Lower panel distressed with Tea Dye, Antique linen and Vintage photo. ( I love this shade..its warm and cozy on a winter day..reminds me of cinnamon..)
The last page .. cloud stamp from Imaginisce .. lower panel inked with Broken China.

This is the tags that I have included in the pockets.

Hope you liked it and my partner did too!! It was a lot of work, even though it doesn't look like it wasn't!

If you have any questions about any product or technique...ask me and I shall be happy to clarify things for you.

Till then!!

Wedding album

Took me a while to put this up..., I decided to show you a video rather than the tons of pics I'd have to put up...
In the video, please ignore my dirty nails and everything else beside the album.

I've mostly kept the album simple so there is more space for the photos...and I loved the papers too much to cover them up.

You can watch the video here or at my You tube channel..

I've used loads of CB embossing folders, alpha dies and bling..Let me know if you want to know something..will surely get back.
The album is done from this tutorial by Laura Denison.

Supplies- Inque Botique papers- Memoirs (Thanks Lani for this beautiful paper).
Cuttlebug Embossing folders, Olivia Alpha Dies (Thanks Vaishali),
Martha stewart - Deco shells round the page punch, label 1 spellbinder dies and  Fancy tags dies,  (on loan from R...) Distress ink - vintage photo
