This is my second post of the day...please scroll down for my AWIC day 3 card..
Shalini had organized a scrappy scrap challenge. She mailed out papers, embellishments to all of us and we were to make cards. No extra DP, no images, only one sentiment stamp allowed..she made it as hard as possible!!
It took a while to decide on the theme of the card..but I settled on friendship.
What is more warming, more comforting than the quilt of friendship..and thus I found the perfect sentiment and knew that it had to be a quilt. Picking up colors from the DP, it was go from there. There was acetate, I only used a bit, in the center behind the flower.
Here are the scrap that I got for the challenge
And here's my card..I've distress all the edges with brown ink, every square had been distressed to give that vintage look.
I hope you like it. If you do, hop over to Shalini's blog to vote for it. Its not going to be easy..have you seen the other gorgeous creations? It took me ages to vote...Thank you thank you girl for letting us push the boundaries of creativity!!
